Impact Language is a social business language school offering high quality Spanish lessons and local family homestays with an impact. We offer the opportunity for complete immersion in Guatemala’s culture, Spanish language, and gastronomy. Our unique and experiences in Antigua connect tourist and locals in meaningful ways and we donate 100% of net profits to the a NGO Niños de Guatemala.
Our 2 weeks with Cambio NDG in Antigua were amazing. We did everything Cambio offers – homestays, language classes, all the tours and volunteer for a day. Our homestay was amazing and we are still in touch with the family. My son (age 10) took Spanish lessons and his teacher Alvaro was excellent. What I loved most were the “off the tourist track”tours -meeting local families and their entrepreneurial endeavors, interacting with the students and teachers in the schools, and gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation for this amazing part of the world! I highly recommend Cambio NDG and I hope to return soon

I can’t speak enough positive praise about my time at Impact Language!
Being a student felt more like being part of a family where I constantly felt welcome, accommodated and well looked after. Classes with my teacher Arturo were a joy. His experience is obvious and his grasp of the relationships between Spanish and English grammar is impeccable. He is always able to provide concise examples that make those connections clear whenever I had questions.Knowing that my tuition was going towards a social cause left no doubt in my mind which school to go with. I appreciate that staff and employees were also clearly engaged in the NGO, which reinforced the mission and served as a reminder of the community I was happy to be a part of.

I love studying Spanish with Rosa and look forward to our lessons all week. I began as an absolute beginner, and now I have the confidence and knowledge to have full conversations. Rosa has been a wonderful teacher; challenging me to learn and supporting me through difficult sections. The lessons are a great mix between structured exercises and information discussion, and homework assignments ensure I keep at it during the week. I have always struggled to learn a second language, and I’m over the moon to have made so much progress.
